Susan Boyle has taken the world by storm.  If you haven’t watched this 7 minute video of her performance in front of the likes of Simon Cowell on Britain’s Got Talent, do it now!  This video has gone viral overnight and has been viewed 26,000,000 times on Youtube.  You will not be disappointed.  (if video doesn’t load, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY)

My friend Shane Gibson Twittered today,”When I grow up I want to be Susan Boyle.”  I’m sure he’s not alone.

Susan Boyle, we salute you.

She really is amazing–it shows how much we look at people and put an automatic assumption on what they are like, when true beauty is found in the least expected places. I especially love how much confidence she has even from the beginning 🙂 So great!

    • Sarah & Tim Says:

keen observation, Quince! i have to admit i couldn’t stop looking at her eyebrows, but you’re totally right. because she looked a certain way, everyone made these automatic assumptions which were totally trashed once she opened her mouth to sing. the world stands corrected.

  2. Quincy Says:

Haha well no worries, I’ll admit that I just kept picturing a man with a wig and a dress on–it is the truth! But yes, we really should just shut our mouthes until we know the whole truth behind a person. So great!

Thanks for your comment this week on Pink to Green! I love this video too; it makes you wanna stand up and cheer her on, doesn’t it?!

  4. Jones Says:

Everytime I watch this I tear up from the audience’s and the judge’s reaction and reviews! I love Susan Boyle. K bye.
