Wedding Pictures March 7, 2008

Just posted some of our lovely wedding photos on the blue bijou blog – check them out!

Here’s a teaser for ya…

Beautiful photography care of Yaletown Wedding Gallery, taken at Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver, Canada.  Oh the greenery…  When watching Martian Child this past past week (HIGHLY recommend it!), I knew it was filmed in Vancouver just by the lush greenery.  You could feel the moisture in the soil and humidity in the air just by looking at it.  That’s me – a true Vancouverite.

Gorgeous! I love the direction photography is going these day. Kiddie Kandids is in trouble. Silly posed photography with a fake background. *sigh*
Anywhoodles, thanks for the advice! I am going to go get that book! I love books, and I have a pile of them just waiting to be read. But that one sounds fabulous. Thanks agayn!

Totally agreed! There are some fabulous kid photo shoots these days, it’s unbelievable! I found Julie Parker through your blog and my friend Mika of Mikarose ended up going with her for her photo shoot – she’s got a great eye for shooting kids! Well, not shooting kids, but you know…

I’m not sure that Martian Child is a book, but I know it’s a movie at the video store with John Cusak in it. Have you read the Alchemist by Paolo Coelho? SOOOO incredible. Highly recommend it! Plus, Women that Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes is a very good female empowering, connecting to your roots type of book. No woman should be without it. Enjoy!

  3. That is an absolutely gorgeous wedding picture. Wow!
